Slasher® is a contact herbicide, meaning it must touch the green surface of the weed to work. It rapidly dehydrates foliage, causing visible browning and wilting — often within hours. Because it acts on live leaf matter, it won’t be effective on weeds that have been recently slashed or whipper-snipped.
Important: Slasher® is non-selective and will kill any plant it touches. We take extreme care during application to avoid spray drift onto lawns and desirable plants.
